Police name biker killed in collision as Michael Fieldhouse
Police have named the motorcyclist who died after his machine collided with a tractor trailer near Haigh in Wakefield earlier this week.
Michael Fieldhouse, 37, from Barnsley, died at the scene of the incident on the A637 Huddersfield Road just after 7.30pm on Tuesday September 16.
He was travelling south towards Bretton Mill Farm along with a second motorcyclist when he was in collision with a trailer being pulled by a tractor that had left a nearby field.

Hide AdSgt Ann Drury of West Yorkshire Police’s major collision enquiry team, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen this collision, or the motorcycles prior to the collision, to contact Det Cons Noel Lowdon on 101.”
