I was evacuated to Mirfield during the war 1944 and was hospitalised somewhere in the region to an isolated hospital surrouded by fields with stone walls sectioning the fields off,no other buildings were in sight. Would anyone know the name or wherabouts of such a hospital within say a 50mile radius of Mirfield? I was only 7 years old at the time and need to know what was wrong with me to be put in a childrens islolation hospital. Any bit of info would help I seem to remember the building as being of red brick, not much to go on. Any ideas would be a help . Harry(my email address can be printed). Thank You
