A CITY recruitment company is celebrating one year since making the right move.
Staff at Reed Employment invited Wakefield Wildcats stars and the city’s mayor, Jacqui Williams, for a slice of birthday cake last Saturday to mark the occasion.

It is 12 months since the company moved from their old premises in Raines House, on Denby Dale Road, to a new office in Marygate House, on Silver Street.

Business manager JoJo Brown said: “The company’s gone from strength to strength and we wanted to celebrate how well we’re doing.”

As well as patting themselves on the back, the company also raised money for the Federation of Disabled Sports Organisations.

Mr Brown said: “I come from a sporting background, we’ve worked with the federation before and we like what they do.

“They do things for the deaf, the blind and people with physical and learning difficulties.”
