A COMMERCIAL training group played ball with members of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) during a personal development session.
Services to Business, the commercial training arm of Wakefield College, saw 25 cricket development managers take advantage of its services at the Thornes Park campus.

The ECB members, who represented many of the country’s county cricket clubs, including Yorkshire, Durham, Cumberland, Northumberland and Lancashire, were responsible for increasing participation, club membership, securing funding and promoting the game at grass-roots level.

Among the delegates was former-England international Jim Love.

The day-long session, titled ‘Managing your own game – a personal stock take’, gave participants a chance to develop a long-term personal development plan.
