UP to 35 jobs could be created at Calder Park.
Sytner group, a prestige specialist car retailer, has been granted planning permission to expand their 2.5-acre development at the business park.

The £6.5 million scheme will include a showroom, workshop, dry valet, drive-through and carwash.

Work is due to start on the site in late August and is due to be finished in April 2009 and is expected to create 35 jobs.

John Buchan, of Sytner Group, said: “We are very excited about plans to develop and expand our existing Audi business in Wakefield, and look forward to developing our new state-of-the art facility that will provide 14 new cars in the showroom, 50 used cars externally and a 15-ramp workshop complete with our unique drive-in service reception.”

Calder Park, at junction 39 of the M1, is already home to occupiers, including George Wimpy, Balfour Beatty, Holiday Inn Express, Highways Agency and Mercedes-Benz.
