Wakefield Wildcats stars will help Wakefield College's training sector launch a campaign to encourage free training for businesses.
Until Friday, April 18 Wildcats Brad Drew and Paul Riley will encourage businesses to improve staff skills on a selected number of its courses.

Mr Drew said: “This is a really great offer that the college has put together and it’s a good opportunity for local businesses to build on the skills of their staff.”

The courses vary from customer service to management, and will only cost a small fee for registration and certification.

Staff are assessed as they work, so would spend little or no time away from their normal job roles while gaining their qualifications.

Marketing officer Jonathan Wilkinson said: “We have a wide range of courses which the vast majority of businesses in Wakefield and the surrounding areas would find useful.

“This is a great opportunity for employers to increase their staff’s skills.”
