A CHILDREN'S appeal will benefit from the efforts of three work experience students who pulled in the pounds by running round Pugneys.
Cathedral School pupils Jayjay Swarts, Adam Machen and Nino Sharif, 15, took part in the challenge with the support of Asda, on Asdale Road, where the three had spent a fortnight on work experience.

The sponsored event, which took place last Friday, raised more than £100 for the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.

Asda’s events organiser Jo Alldridge, 26, of Humley Road, Kettlethorpe, said:

“The fact they are doing this for charity is amazing. We’re really proud of them.”
