ST ANDREWS SERVICE: At St Swithun's community centre on Sunday at 10.15am the morning service will be conducted by Janet and John Milne. Prayers will be said for the church, community and world. Refreshments will be served following the service and everybody is welcome.
POLICE ISSUES: On every third Wednesday starting on Wednesday, August 4 PCSO Paul Garlick will be available at St Swithun's Community Centre. If you have any issues that you would like to discuss or have any community safety questions then please drop by from 10am-12pm.
COFFEE DAY: A coffee day, which should have been held in the garden of Mr and Mrs Young, had to be transferred to Trinity Methodist Church because of the inclement weather. However the weather did not deter everyone's enthusiasm to make the event a success, and £502.25p was raised for Action for Children. The winner of the cake was Mrs Audrey Goodman. Thanks to everyone who helped or supported the event in any way.
TRINITY SERVICE: The preacher at Trinity Methodist church at 10.45am on Sunday is Mrs Irene Hayes. There will be no evening service at Trinity as we shall join with our friends at Parkside Methodist Church, when the preacher will be Rev Richard Oldroyd. Everyone is very welcome.
MEETING REMINDER: This recently formed group for the Eastmoor area will be holding another meeting on Monday at the Fire Station on Brunswick Street. It will start at 7pm. Please try to come along and have your say.
