HALL GREEN TENANTS: Hall Green Tenants and Residents Association is holding its next open meeting on Monday,
May 12 at 7pm at Stoney Garth on Low Moor Crescent. If you have any concerns about the area, go along and have your say.

KETTLETHORPE TENANTS and Residents Association: Will hold its next open meeting on Monday, May 19 at 6.30pm in the community centre. The association is affiliated to the Tenants and Residents Federation, with a committee comprised of local elected volunteers. The group would find it gratifying to see a larger attendance, as it is non-political and provides the ideal opportunity for anyone to raise a topic, such as traffic problems on Wharncliffe Road. There are normally local councillors and an estate manager in attendance, enabling a direct dialogue with WDH and Wakefield Council. It is an opportunity to hear different points of view and possibly to learn that your concerns are already being dealt with.

RACE FOR LIFE: Sue Hutton, a local resident is taking part in this years' Race for Life on Sunday, May 18 at Temple Newsam to raise money for Cancer Research. Anyone who would like to sponsor Sue, who works at Dane Royd J&I School, can do so through the school. Good luck Sue!
