ST LUKES FAMILY FUN DAY: This will take place on August Bank Holiday Monday from 2 – 5pm on the Old Sharlston Cricket ground. It will be opened by Father Peter Bostock. There will be fun for all the family including the Stanley Majorettes and a Punch and Judy show. Stalls will include tombola/raffle, food, cakes and buns, etc.

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY
PARTY: Sharlston Rovers ARLFC will hold a Bank Holiday Monday Party for adults and kids on Monday, August 30 from 1pm onwards in Sharlston Rugby Club. There will be fun and games, karaoke and disco with Ellie B. Children must be accompanies by someone over 18.

KEEP FIT: Sharlston keep fits starts again on Thursday, September 2 from 10 – 11am. Anyone wishing to join come along to the Community Centre. £2 per session. No joining fee and a qualified instructor.

SECOND GRAND CHARITY CONCERT: 'Shearings Holidays', Featherstone Male Voice Choir presents the Second Grand Charity Concert in Featherstone Methodist Church on Saturday, September 11 at 7.15pm. Tickets are £6 and are available from Ian Dransfield – 01977 792281, Dransfield's Newsagents, 43 Station Road, Featherstone and from the Hospice Reception on 01977 708868. Proceeds in aid of The Prince of Wales Hospice.

SHARLSTON CHILDRENS
CENTRE: Stay and play sessions will be running throughout the school holidays on Tuesdays from 9.45 – 11.15am.

KARAOKE: This will take place in Sharlston Villa Club once a fortnight. The next karaoke evening will be on September 4.
