FOOTY MATCH: Our team, led by Affy, comfortably beat Omar's team last week at the Lightwaves leisure centre. The final score of 8-2 was a fair reflection of the game and the man of the match was Abdul Ghafoor who had been drafted into the G6 team in the absence of Wally and Naz. I am hoping for a closer game this week!
FLY TIPPING: This issue is still going on and is on the increase especially in the Belle Vue area and I would urge everyone to report anyone fly tipping in our area.
TRIVIA QUIZ: The correct answer to last week's trivia question – "Which NBA legend was nicknamed The Mailman?" – is Karl Malone. Well done to Gerry Firth for being the first person to send in the correct answer. Well done to Chris Kerrang and Jason Gill as well. This week's trivia question is: "When Cliff Thorburn made his 147 break in the 1983 World Snooker Championship (against Terry Griffiths), which fellow Canadian stopped his match to watch? If you think you know the answer, please e-mail or text me.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: The seat of knowledge is in the head, of wisdom, in the heart.
