John Frederick (Fred) Ward (Ex Castleford RLFC Leeds & Hunslet) Passed away suddenly at home on November 13 2012, aged 80 years. The beloved husband of Pat, a much loved dad of Chris and Sue, a devoted grandad of Caroline, Amy and Katherine, also his 3 great grandchildren. A dear father-in-law of John and Nigel, loving brother of Ken, Maureen and the late Sheila, dear brother-in-law and uncle. Also a good friend to many. Fred will be sadly missed by all. The funeral will take place on Wednesday November 28th with service at Hightown Church at 10am, prior to committal at Pontefract Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired will be kindly received in aid of The British Heart Foundation, for which a collection box will be provided.
