TRINITY SERVICE: The 10.45am service at Trinity Methodist Church on Sunday will be led by Margaret Bendle of Horbury. There will be a lunch served after the service at 12.30pm. There will be no evening service at Trinity today.

COMMUNION SERVICE: At St Andrew’s Church on Sunday the epiphany 4 communion service will be led by Rev Dawn Ingham, preacher Elizabeth Ewan, readings taken from Revelation and Mark will be by Richard Pudsey and prayers for the church, community and world will be by Mavis Worth. Refreshments will be served following the service.

SIMPLY LEISURE: At St Swithun’s on Monday from 1pm-3pm Simply Leisure will listen to a talk and watch a demonstration on health training by Yasmin. Entrance is £1.50 which includes refreshments served during the meeting.

LITTLE FISHES: At St Andrew’s on Thursday, February 2 from 9.30am-11am Little Fishes will meet. Entrance is £1 per child and includes toast, fruit and a drink.

COMMUNITY CAFE: At St Andrew’s Your Space the Community Cafe is open Monday to Thursday from 10am-2pm for light lunches, snacks and home made products. Your Space is also available for parties, funeral teas, etc, please inquire in the cafe.

OLDER PEOPLES CLUB: The Eastmoor OAP Club meets every Tuesday, from 12.30pm-3pm in Eastmoor Rugby Club. Come and join them for a drink and a friendly chat. They play bingo and have raffles and tombola. They also go on trips out for meals several times a year. Join this friendly group and have a good time getting out and about. ADULT EDUCATION: Classes at St Swithun’s Community Centre from January. There are limited places available in arts & crafts, childcare, computing – all levels from beginners to level 2, counselling, embroidery and beaded treasures, employment skills, ESOL, literacy, mosaic, numeracy, Spanish, and yoga. For further information contact 01924 361212 or call into the centre.

PILATES: Come along and enjoy this low impact form of exercise taught by a trained professional. It increases strength and flexibility. It runs on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm. For more information contact Sandra at St Swithun’s Community Centre on 01924 361212

SUNNY CORNER CAFE: Free Tea or Coffee with any cake or scone purchased during February at St Swithun’s Sunny Corner Café, open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm.
