A thought for cyclists

I refer to the stretch of road from Westgate rail bridge down to St Michael's Church.

No matter how you try to cycle near to the kerb you encounter pot holes, sunken grates and a general disintegration of the road surface, forcing you to ride into the path of heavy traffic on this very busy road.

'Going green' could turn out to be a costly option for someone.

Wakefield Council should take note before it's too late and take action to keep everyone safe.
