Getting the right name
Having followed all the recent comments in the Express regarding the proposed change of name for Pinderfields Hospital, it seems now that this has apparently been resolved.
I would, however, comment that most addresses normally start with a name, then the address finishes with the town or city and postcode. To follow this protocol would thus give us Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, not Wakefield Pinderfields Hospital as is now suggested.
We may all live in the Wakefield district, but most of us are proud of our towns and villages and do not wish for Wakefield to have its name in lights at the expense of the rest of us.
