Give away tip licence

IT takes some believing that in an age where gas and oil are the most sought-after resources in the world, that for the past three years, free gas at Welbeck has been burned off into the air, causing global warming, harmful trace gases, and local pollution – all without Wakefield Council taking enforcement action against Welbeck management.

If the local authority are entitled to a cut of the revenue from such gas exploitation, why on earth have they not enforced their planning permission, and why has it been left to RATS to force the Environment Agency and the council to make Welbeck start to take action over such a dereliction of duty?

It is now time to take the licence and lease from Welbeck Waste Management Ltd and give it to someone who does care what they are pumping into our local

atmosphere.
