Have say on travellers
TO close the waste recycling site in Ossett and turn it into a nice travellers' site with running hot water is disgusting!
Will they be paying council tax? I don't think so!
However deputy council leader Denise Jeffery thinks it is needed and it's a good idea.
What is 'needed' is for council tax payers and local people who will have to live within a mile of this site to have a say and be heard!
If Denise Jeffery does not think there are enough travellers sites in Wakefield she should have a look for land in her neighbourhood and I bet that is not North Ossett!
