No influence over academy plans
ISN'T it clear that the reason that so few people expressed their opinion of the academy proposal is that people just don't believe that they can't influence the process.
Once again the view of the headmaster is to be bulldozed through, only this time it is to the detriment of the families of children attending school as we will all be forced to spend extra money to buy new
uniforms.
Perhaps Mr Wilkins doesn't read the papers or perhaps the recession has no meaning to him.
However, there are lots of low income families and single parent families for whom the extra expense will be yet another burden, even with the token 60 assistance. It is a matter of shame that families are being forced to spend any extra money in the current economic climate.
Is there any realistic chance that the parents of the school can alter, change or indeed stop the proposal?
