Our roads need grit too
Surely with all the accidents in the surrounding villages of Wakefield, it must tell those who are in charge of gritting that other council tax payers' roads need it badly instead of penny- pinching to keep Wakefield centre free.
Common sense must tell them that if the roads are clear in Wakefield, go spread it on the other bad roads outside the city as we pay towards our highways as well.
Tuesday last week was an example as the roads around my village were very dangerous for cars and public transport as there were numerous accidents involving both.
