Why park on verges?

IT is bad enough that Pinders Heath is used as a car park for Pinderfields Hospital making access into the estate single file in places, but why do the car owners have to park on the grass verges and pavements instead of using the road?

This is a residential estate and our pavements and grass areas should not be ruined by thoughtless people trying to avoid parking charges.

Wakefield Council seems to think that this problem will go away when the new car park is built at Pinderfields. but I don't know who they are trying to convince as the majority of people parking on our estate are staff at Pinderfields who object to paying parking fees whilst at work.

If you park on Pinders Heath please respect our estate by parking on the road and leaving enough access for the residents
