Worst station I've seen
ON a recent train trip to London on the new service by Grand Central my Aussie friend was amused at the sight of Kirkgate Station.
When I looked out the window I was astonished at the state of disrepair the station is clearly in!
It has been many years since I have been past/on that station and I cannot believe that Wakefield has let it become so unsightly! It was the worst station on the whole trip, in fact, the worst of any I have seen.
It's like something remaining from the Second World War!
Surely a quick lick of paint and some flower baskets could make a bit of a difference if money is that tight!
I am only glad I don't have to use that station daily as I would be rather depressed going to and from work each day!
