THE 16th annual West Yorkshire Police Fishing competition for youngsters takes place in Horbury Bridge tomorrow.
Prizes are on offer for U8s, U15s and U18s at the competition which will be on the Calder and Hebble Canal.

The event is organised by West Yorkshire Police photographer David Speight.

He said: “This competition gives youngsters the chance to get involved in a fun activity and it keeps them occupied during the summer holidays.

“We want the day to be fun and make sure all fish caught are released back into the water alive.

“We would urge anyone wanting to take part to start registering now.”
