Can-do book that's short and sweet
The Science of Getting Rich was written in the 1930s. It is similar to a book I reviewed a couple of years ago called The Secret which, if I recall correctly, was one of those books that makes you rich and successful shortly after putting its contents into practice.
The Science... comes with the same guarantees – if you do as it says you will, without any doubt, most certainly get rich.
It's only 80 pages long and gets right to the point, although it mentions God quite a lot, but uses him (or her!) instead of 'the ultimate force or energy' that according to The Secret gives us everything we want from life.
It certainly gets you thinking and makes you believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind to and, let's face it, anything that makes you feel good is a bonus
nowadays.
But putting it all into practice may not be that simple. It tries to make you go against what you have been led to believe all your life!
It's not a book I would ever think about buying and even though it's been brought up to date it's still not as good as it could be. Parts of it can be used in ordinary life and no doubt I'll put a little bit of what I've learned into practice – maybe!
