Meeting the needs

The couples put their best feet forward for a special show on Monday night which, along with a non-uniform day, raised 2,000 for the charity.

Organiser Dawn Shaw said: "I'm not sure who our John Sergeant was, as rehearsals went brilliantly and all the couples put a lot of hard work into their routines. This year's theme for Children In Need was 'do something different' – so we thought we'd give Strictly a try ... and it was great."
