Sir Roger – who played the secret agent on screen seven times – had a replacement signed photograph sent to the hospice after learning that pictures of himself and fellow 007s Pierce Brosnan and Sir Sean Connery had been stolen in December, when burglars smashed the front window of the hospice offices and snatched them off the wall.
Sir Roger's PA, Gareth Owen, said his boss was only too glad to help.
He said: "I received an e-mail about the article in the Express and showed Sir Roger.
"He told me to send another picture straight away and said it is really sad to think someone would steal something donated for charity."
Mary Porritt, clerical officer at the hospice, said: "I was really excited. It was a really nice surprise and we are delighted."
The original photographs were donated to the hospice six years ago for a special 007 fund-raising event. A signed photograph of the cast of Coronation Street was also taken.
