A BODY of a teenager was recovered from Horbury Lagoon by police divers last night. (Thursday.)
Police officers were called to the stretch of water at Forge Lane, known locally as the Blue Lagoon, at about 5.40pm, after reports that a man had fallen into the water.

Emergency services and officers from the underwater search teams tried to find the man.

A body was found at 7.40pm and it is believed he is aged about 18.

A police spokesman said: "There is nothing to suggest this is anything other than a tragic accident."
