Collision shuts down M1 near Wakefield

A SMASH between a lorry and a car has shut a section of the M1 motorway near Wakefield.
A single southbound carriageway at junction 38 and a single northbound lane at junction 39 has been closed.

Police were called to the incident at 1.20pm today(Thursday).

They also said a woman had been injured.
