FIREFIGHTERS were called to a flat blaze at College Grove Road last night (Thursday).
The kitchen fire was out when firefighters from Wakefield Fire Station attended the call at around 5.45pm.

A man was given oxygen therapy for smoke inhalation by firefighters, but refused further treatment.
