A DOME of dreams where the magical and mysterious came alive enthralled Yorkshire Sculpture Park visitors at the weekend.
Enchanted Forest workshops delved into the exciting world of shadow puppetry and story telling, where torches, magic lanterns and overhead projectors transformed simple objects, materials and cut-out shapes into ethereal images.

The event was inspired by the current Brass Art exhibition, Skyscraping at the park's Bothy Gallery.

Anna Neville, marketing assistant at the YSP, said: "We had an enchanting bank holiday at YSP, the workshop was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children of all ages. Everyone got their hands dirty and had a real adventure.

"The workshop was inspired by the current Brass Art exhibition, which can seen at YSP until June 22."

The next event to take place at the YSP, which is located in West Bretton, offers an insight into the artistic, cultural and educational development in Kurdistan and Iraq.

An Insight Into Current Iraq, on May 17, has been organised by ArtRole to mark their recent artists' visit to the region and includes an exhibition of digital images from the trip.
