Man dies in M1 smash

A 50-year-old man died in a road smash on the M1.
He suffered fatal injuries after he was hit by an articulated lorry while his car, a silver Astra, was stationary on the hard shoulder of the northbound carriageway near Woolley at 1.20pm on Thursday.
