Man killed in collision

A MAN in his 20s died in a road smash in Kettlethorpe last night. (Sunday)
He was driving a Ford Puma which was involved in an incident with a Vauxhall Vectra and a BMW sports car.

The incident happened at Hendal Lane near to the junction of Standbridge Lane at 6.51pm.

Police have arrested a 20-year-old woman and two men aged 19 and 26 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

i live on hendal i cant belive what has happend so sad im so sorry for the family,cars are allways speeding round and about kettlethorpe,but nothing like this has ever happend before ( death ) i drive myself and hate it when boy racers come flying up road or behind me,make me worry for mine and my familys saftey,hopefully the boy racers will take note of what has happend and slow down.

R.I.P Lee, you will be sadly missed, our thoughts are with Meg and your family.

We went up today to lay some flowers and people were still driving past us like lunatics, people just dont seem to learn, speed cameras are the only things that tend to stop idiots nowadays, we have lost a good lad due to other peoples carelessness. I hope people learn from this.
