SUPERMARKET giant Asda is to reduce its price of fuel.

From tomorrow (Tuesday) motorists will pay up to 3p a litre less for both unleaded petrol and diesel.

The retailer’s new national price cap means drivers will pay no more than 135.7p per litre for unleaded and 139.7p per litre for diesel, including at its store on Asdale Road, Wakefield.

The supermarket chain says it has been able to slash prices after reductions in wholesale costs.
