Temporary lights will be in place on High Street in Crofton for 12 weeks from Monday for gas mains replacement works.

Hill Top Road in Newmillerdam will be closed from number 49 to the junction with Lodge Lane on Tuesday so that a new water supply can be installed.

Sugar Lane, Agbrigg Road, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Maybush Road and St Catherine Street will be closed on Sunday from 3pm until 4.30pm for the annual peace march.

Thompsons Yard will be closed from the junction with Westgate to Pioneer House on Sunday, January 12, from 8am until 5pm, so a new water supply can be installed.

Balne Lane will be closed at the railway bridge, on Sunday, January 12, from 9am until 5pm for a railway bridge examination.

Eastbound traffic will be diverted along Balne Lane, Alverthorpe Road, Westgate End, Westgate and Mulberry Way.

Westbound traffic will be diverted along Bond Street, Wentworth Terrace, Northgate, the Bull Ring, Marygate, Westgate, Westgate End, Horbury Road, Dewsbury Road and Alverthorpe Road.
