Deputy prime minister Nick Clegg visited a Normanton company yesterday (Thursday) after the firm secured £1m in government cash to create 175 jobs.

Mr Clegg met workers at Really Useful Products, on Foxbridge Way, after a £1m investment was agreed from the government’s Regional Growth Fund.

The storage box company has also secured almost £6m in private sector investment and will use the cash to install new machinery and expand the Normanton factory.
