Ross Barr Hoyland, founder of Ross Barr, attended The Campaign for Wool event at Dumfries House on Friday, September 9, when he spoke to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

The exclusive event focused on the use of wool in fashion and interior design, and was aimed at encouraging British manufacturing, both aims that the Ross Barr menswear label is a keen advocate of.

The clothing line - made entirely from British wool - has previously received the royal seal of approval from the Queen and Prince Charles.

Ross said: “Having previously met His Royal Highness and the Queen, I am absolutely honoured to have been invited back to attend this royal event.

Ross Barr shares the same ethos behind the Campaign for Wool and so we’re proud to support and encourage young manufacturers of Great British wool and it was a pleasure to connect with the pioneers of the industry.”

The Ross Barr firm was set up with the help of The Princes’ Trust in September 2015.
