DETECTIVES have today released CCTV footage of a violent attack which left an Ossett man with a fractured skull.
The 35-year-old was taken to hospital – where he needed surgery to have metal plates and more than 20 screws inserted into his forehead – after a fight broke out inside Capone’s takeaway on New Briggate, Leeds, at around 3.30am on Sunday, February 12.
Police say the man was trying to shield his partner and her female friend from the violence when he was struck from the side with such force he was left with a fractured forehead.
Two other men, who were not connected to the main victim, were also injured in the incident.
Officers have released CCTV footage and have appealed for help to track down those responsible for the attack.
