CHRISTMAS babies arrived in time to bring joy to the festive season.
Baby Chloe Rose Purvis was born at 12.31am on Christmas Day at Pinderfields Hospital.
Mum Rebecca, 32, and dad Derrick, 33, were home in time to spend the day opening Christmas presents with their new arrival, and daughter Sophia, 4.
Chloe weighed in at six-and-a-half pounds.
Mrs Purvis, of Primrose Way, Horbury, said her older daughter Sophia, was excited to meet her new sister.
Mrs Purvis said: “She was an express delivery. I’m still tired after the birth but we are feeling great.
“We were home by 7am on Christmas day and in time to open our presents.”
Logan-James Bryan was born on Christmas morning at Pinderfields Hospital, to the delight of mum Rebekah Price, 19, and dad Connor Bryan, 17.
Baby Logan-James, who was born at 6.36am, weighed eight pounds 12 ounces.
Miss Price, of South Street, Havercroft, said she was glad to be home after the birth.
She added: “He’s doing fine.”
