BRIARY CLOSE: Can I please ask local youths and even younger kids not to play in peoples gardens on Briary Close. We have all worked hard to improve the image of this area and would like to keep that going , and kids destroying plants and gardens doesn’t help, so please keep away from this area and find something positive to do with your time.

THORNES HOUSE SCHOOL 1983 REUNION: A reunion for Thornes House School for all those pupils that left in 1983 is going to be held on Friday 7th October at The Wrenthorpe Working Men’s Club from 7pm onwards. We had a fab time last year and it would be great to see some more friends from Thornes House School who couldn’t make it last year. Any problems please e-mail me, I would love to see as many old friends there as possible. I was in Miss Balmforth’s class and then Mr Parkin took over. It was a fab school with fab memories which it would be nice to share with many more friends who left in 1983.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY: To my friend Laura from the Car People in Thornes, hope you had a fabulous day, see you at Christmas.
