AGBRIGG / BELLE VUE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS SWITCH ON: The annual Christmas tree lights switch on will take place Monday 28 November 4.30pm. Can I ask everyone once again to make an effort to attend this event as its events like this that bring the community together.

ST.CATHERINES CHURCH : St. Catherine’s Church. Next Weeks services. Sunday 27 Nov. 9am Communion (said) 10.15am Communion for All, with children’s group. Every Mon. & Wed. 8.30am Morning Prayer. Wed. 30th Nov. 9.30am Communion (said). A welcome to everyone at any service.For Baptisms, weddings funerals contact the vicar Revd. Collings. Dec. 10th Christmas Fair 11am - 2pm with various stalls & refreshments. Christmas Lunch with entertainment to follow. 13th Dec. 12.30pm Tickets £7, call in & see Dawn or ring to book. Community cafe open every day 8.30am-2.30pm, 2 course lunch, drinks & snacks available. Free transport for those unable to come alone. Various rooms many sizes for your own event or celebration. YOUNG AT HEART GROUP : Young at heart group meet every Thurs 1.30-3.30pm at the community centre. Next meeting a talk about the Edith Jackson Trust. A welcome to all over 55’s & Guests, refreshments served.

COMMUNITY MEMORIAL: Thank you to the members of the local community who have e-mailed me with offers of support for a community memorial for Agbrigg / Belle Vue. I am grateful to everyone of you, I will keep in touch and things are already moving in the right direction.
