ST CATHERINE’S CHURCH: Services on Sunday, January 8, 9am communion (said), 10.15am communion for all, with children’s group. Every Monday and Wednesday at 8.30am, morning prayer. Community cafe open from 8.30am to 2.30pm serving two-course lunch, snacks and drinks. Free transport for those unable to come alone. Rooms of various sizes available for your event. ANNUAL PEACE MARCH: The annual Eid-Milad-Ul-Nabi peace march which celebrates the birth of prophet Mohammed (PBUH) will take place end of the month, further details in next couple of weeks.Its a joyful and colourful gathering and the organisers are once again hoping for a good turn out to make the peace march even better than previous years.

ARTICLES FOR COLUMN: Can I remind everyone that the deadline for articles for the column is Monday at noon. I can’t promise that articles submitted after the deadline will be included in the column for that particular week, so if you have an article or event that you wish you to publicise, please can you e-mail it to me by then.

THANK YOU TO MEMBERS: Can I thank all members of the Post Office Sports and Social Club who made an effort to attend the events the committee organised last year. In particular can I thank everyone that attended the Christmas party, it was a fantastic evening and we are hoping to organise many family, fun and social events this year. Special thank you to Tim Douglas who was DJ for the night.
