TRINITY SERVICE: The 10.45am service at Trinity Methodist Church on Sunday is Mr J Sudworth. At 6pm Rev Naomi Kaiga will lead worship which also includes the communion.

REMEMBRANCE SERVICES: At St Andrew’s on Sunday, the second before Advent, Remembrance Service will be led by John Milne, preacher Gill Denyer, readings taken from Thessalonians and Matthew, will be by Bob Mitchell and prayers for the church, community and world will be by the Rev Dawn Ingham. Refreshments will be served following the service. Also at St Andrew’s on Sunday at 6.30pm the Remembrance Service will be led by the Rev Dawn Ingham, preacher the Rev Dawn Ingham, readings will be by Elizabeth Ewan and prayers will be by the Rev Dawn Ingham. Refreshments will be served following the service.

TRINITY FUNDRAISER: The monthly coffee morning at Trinity will take place tomorrow at 10am. There will be a bring ‘n buy and cake stall. All proceeds are for Wakefield Hospice.

SIMPLY LEISURE: At St Swithun’s Centre on Monday from 1pm to 3pm Simply Leisure will be doing a project on groundwork. Entrance is £1.50 and includes refreshments that will be served during the meeting.

LITTLE FISHES: At St Andrew’s on Thursday, November 17, from 9.30am to 11am the Little Fishes group for toddlers, mums and carers will meet. Entrance is £1 per child and includes toast, fruit and a drink.

COMMUNITY CAFE: At St Andrew’s church the Your Space community cafe is open Mondays to Thursdays, from 10am-2pm for light lunches, snacks and homemade products. Your Space is also available for parties, funeral teas, etc, please inquire at the cafe.

GEM THANK YOU: The GEM group would like to pass on its thanks to all the volunteers and helpers who assisted it with its recent half-term activities. Special thanks to Wakefield Museum service, to the mayoral office for organising the visit, and to the five-a-day team.
