ADULT EDUCATION: Classes at St Swithun’s Community Centre from January 2012. There are limited places available in Arts & Crafts, Childcare, Computing – all levels from beginners to Level 2, Counselling, Embroidery and Beaded Treasures, Employment Skills, ESOL, Literacy, Mosaic, Numeracy, Spanish, and Yoga. PILATES: Come along and enjoy this low impact form of exercise taught by a trained professional. It increases strength and flexibility. Everyone welcome. It runs on Tuesdays from 5pm - 6pm. For more information contact Sandra at St Swithun’s Community Centre on 01924 361212.

PANTOMIME: Last Saturday 20 members, friends and children went to see the pantomime “Babes in the Wood” which was performed by members and friends of St Andrews Methodist Church, Beeston. The pantomime which runs until Saturday, January 28 was of a very high standard and was very much enjoyed by everyone who attended.

COMMUNION SERVICE: At St Andrew’s on Sunday at 10.15am the Epiphany 3 Holy Communion Service will be led by the Rev Dawn Ingham, preach John Milne, readings taken from Revelations and John will be by Pat Ekert and prayers for the church, community and world will be by Pam Aveyard. Refreshments will be served following the service and everyone is welcome.

SIMPLY LEISURE: At St Swithun’s on Monday from 1pm-3pm Simply Leisure will be listening to a talk on Promoting Recycling. Entrance is £1.50 and includes refreshments that will be served during the meeting and everybody is welcome.

LITTLE FISHES: At St Andrew’s on Thursday from 9.30am-11am Little Fishes will meet. Entrance is £1.00 per child and includes toast, fruit and a drink and everybody is welcome.

COMMUNITY CAFE: At St Andrew’s from Tuesdays-Thursdays, 10am-2pm Your Space the community cafe is open for light lunches, snacks and homemade produce. Your Space is also available for parties, funeral teas, etc, please enquire in the cafe.
