ST PETER’S CHURCH: The Sunday morning service at St Peter’s was All-Age Holy Communion for Harvest Featival. It was conducted by Canon Stephen Kel;ly. Fabian and James Offori performed a sketch about the importance of bees for Harvest, and Hilary Sharp and Leonard Bartle read Bible verses about Honey. This Sunday Canon Roy Clements will conduct Sung Communion at 9am. TODDLER PRAISE: The annual programme of Toddler Praise services started last Friday, when pre-school children brought their carers to Church for a Toddler Praise Harvest. Normally meetings are on the second Friday at 10am in Church. For further details see St Peter’s Church website. T CLUB: The new programme of monthly meetings at St Peter’s T Club began with a meeting at the home of Phyllis Brake last Thursday. The October meeting will be a lunch at Wetherby Whaler. TABLE TOP SALE: The Table Top Sale in Woolley Village Hall last Saturday raised £491.80 for Woolley’s link church vicarage in Tarime. After a sale of the cakes and Harvest produce after the Harvest Festival service last Sunday, plus donations almost doubled the amount to £908.40. The total raised this year is now £3,360 towards the £11.000 needed to build a complete new vicarage in Tarime.
