OUTWOOD LIBRARY: Karl attended a meeting with the council regarding the potential closure of the library, they are very keen to see an independent organisation take over the library. This is something which would take a great deal of effort for the supporters group to undertake. Karl re-iterated that we would like to see the council continue to support the library in its present form. If you can be outside the Town Hall in Wakefield at 12.30pm on Friday December 2 for about 20 minutes when the petition is handed in, this would be great. People power is needed - please help if you possibly can. Phone Karl on 01924 820264 for further information.

PARKSIDE PAINT AND PALETTE GROUP: Charles Evans the well known TV artist from Northumberland will demonstrate watercolours at Parkside Methodist Church Tuesday November 29 starting at 7.30pm. Admission including tea/coffee £3. All very welcome.
