RYHILL ART SOCIETY: Irving Penvose was the guest artist at the last meeting of Ryhill Art Society, he demonstrated a picture of a lion in pastel. Peter Hill will visit the next meeting on Wednesday, November 30, with a demonstration in oil at St Pauls, Ryhill. New members are welcome, admission is £3 including refreshments.

ACTIVITY DAY: On Sunday 27th November there will be an Activity Day Titivation Work at Fox Well and the Tree Nursery in Haw Park Wood. Meet at the Discovery Centre, Anglers Country Park at 11am, everyone is welcome. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, gloves are recommended.

WHEELS FOR ALL: The last session for 2011 is on Saturday, December 10 from 10am - noon, at Havercroft Sports Centre. WFA provide fun cycle sessions on a fleet of adapted bikes especially for those who may have difficulty riding ordinary bikes. Qualified Leaders in attendance and helmets are provided. £2.60 for up to 2 hours. For more information , contact Gail Tombs on 07762 018136.

LIFEBOATS: Walton Branch RNLI is holding its’ Christmas Fair on Saturday 26th November at Walton Village Hall, from 2.30pm. There will be cakes, preserves, handmade cards, jewellery, crafts and various other stalls. Admission is £1 including refreshments. Everyone is welcome for a fun afternoon.

WALTON METHODIST CHURCH: The preacher on Sunday at 10.30am is Dr Richard Bowen. On Monday the After Tea Dance Group meets from 6.30 – 9pm, for an informal evening of mixed dance, refreshments are served during the evening. On Tuesday Open Door Coffee Morning is from 10- 11.30am and on Wednesday Craft Class is from 9.30am - noon.
