WRENTHORPE GARDENING CLUB: The first meeting of 2012 will take place on Wednesday, February 1 at 7.30pm, in Wrenthorpe Village Hall. The speaker is Dr Derek Maitland, his topic is Growing Dahlias. The competition classes are 1. A winter plant arrangement; 2. Any other horticultural exhibit. Visitors and new members are warmly welcome. Visitors are charged £1 for an evening’s entertainment or if you wish to join, the annual membership fee is £5.
