CCTV released of suspects in Cleckheaton school burglary

CCTV images have been released of three men in connection with a burglary at a Cleckheaton school where a safe containing cash and other valuables was taken.

The incident happened at the Whitechapel Primary School, Whitechapel Road between 8.45pm and 9.32pm on Monday January 18.

Officers want to speak to three males in connection with the incident.

The first is described as white and was wearing a blue coloured jumper, grey hooded top and a black woolly hat.

The second is also described as male. He was wearing a black adidas top, black body warmer, green gloves and a green balaclava.

The third male is described as wearing a navy blue ‘Nike’ branded top, navy blue bottoms and yellow/green gloves.

PC Chris Birkenshaw of the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who recognises any of the three individuals in the pictures to come forward.”
