A man was groped by another man in the toilets at Leeds rail station.

British Transport Police (BTP) have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following the assault.

The 22-year-old victim, from Leeds, was in the toilets on platform 8 shortly after 9.30pm, on October 4, when he was “touched inappropriately”.

BTP say they have followed a number of lines of enquiry into the incident, including circulating an image on police intelligence systems, without success.

PC Andrew added: “Unwanted inappropriate behaviour like this can be a very distressing experience for anyone.

“I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured, or knows his whereabouts, to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 quoting reference B4/NEA of October 15 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
