A teenager’s expensive camera equipment was stolen at a skate park.

Police believe the bag of camera gear could have already been sold on.

It was stolen when it was left unattended by a 15-year-old boy at Thornes Park on Sunday, March sometime between 5.15pm and 5.45pm.

The bag contained a black Nikon D5100 SLR camera, a Samyang fish eye lens, a Rode Video microphone and a Nikon 18-55 lens kit.

PCSO Chris Duke, of the Central neighbourhood police team, said: “We are investigating this offence and would like to speak to any witnesses.

“Anyone who has information or is offered camera equipment matching the stolen items for sale in suspicious circumstances should contact the Central NPT.”
