Detectives have released CCTV images of a man who went missing from Pinderfields Hospital almost two weeks ago.
Ian Hickin, 40, was admitted to hospital on Wednesday, January 22, and was reported missing at 7.20pm the following evening.
The CCTV images released today show him leaving the hospital on Thursday, January 23.
Det Insp Paul Harrison, of Wakefield District CID, said: “These CCTV images clearly show what Ian Hickin looked like on the night he was last seen and we are hoping they may just spark someone’s memory.
“Clearly it has now been some time since the last confirmed sighting of Ian and given that he was not in good health we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Ian or who has information about his whereabouts to contact police immediately.”
Mr Hickin is slim and around 5ft 5ins tall. He was wearing a grey, checked shirt, a white V neck T shirt, a black jacket and black shoes.
Anyone with information should call Wakefield CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
